This is a sign I bought in Hong Kong many many years ago and I’ve always had it on my room door wherever I live in Waterloo. Only about 3 months before I’m back in Hong Kong!!!

Now that I’m back in Waterloo, I’m lucky to have a variety of “International” cuisine on account of my roomates’ different cooking styles. This is a Malaysian dish Koda cooked. I forgot the name of it but it has vegetables, medicinal herbs and ribs in it. Yummy!

Music is a big part of my life. Depending on my mood, some songs really speak to my heart. I can’t imagine going through my day without some tune in my ear. Whether its at the gym, studying, working, commuting, I always seem to be listening to something. Having an iPhone helps to keep tunes on hand at all times.

The reason I’ve been so behind in posting lately is my 4th and last work term report. The technical aspects of this report is way above my head. Rapid Drawdown has been plaguing my mind for the past 2 weeks, but I’m all done now! Yay!

Finally got to try Ackee Tree on Spadina with Koda when he visited from Waterloo this weekend. Those who know me know that I love Caribbean cuisine. Of course I had to try their jerk chicken. It was perfectly cooked and definitely was up to par with The Reef in Vancouver. I don’t eat chicken skin often, but one exception I make is jerk chicken.

Finally we come to the event that has been setting me back on my 365 schedule. I got to be a photographer at the Eating Disorder Awareness Coalition of Kitchener’s charity event fashion show, “Reshaping Fashion”. Thanks for the opportunity, Maple! First time I shot this kind of event and it was definitely an experience! Check out all the photos here.

Ok I’ve finally finished processing all the photos I shot on Sunday of the Reshaping Fashion’ fashion show in Kitchener. More on that in a later post. Now to catch up on 365.

First thing I did when I got into Waterloo was make banana bread with Koda. Well, really, I only mashed the bananas.

How have I been at Waterloo for 4 years and haven’t ever had this huge goblet of bubble tea?

Went into Waterloo again this past weekend to relax and chill with friends. Ended up playing Monopoly with Karen, Andrew and Koda. It was funny, after Koda and Andrew went bankrupt, I yelled “I’m going to hang on as long as possible!” I ended up lasting one turn before Karen I landed on one of Karen’s hotel filled properties. =( She is the “weener.” (some inside joke about a chef who couldn’t pronounce ‘winner’) Also, the monopoly set came with a trophy:
