For some reason, my family suddenly decided to make my little cousin hold my mom’s handbag and started taking photos of her outside a restaurant in Richmond.

Rented this 70-200 2.8L for shooting my cousin’s wedding, especially for the ceremony. Wish I owned it. I didn’t want to send it back!

Found this wonderful staircase inside the new Woodward’s development.

Fish and chips, sun, frozen yogurt, gentle sea breeze, Camille sitting on a bench talking on the phone. Nothing beats a relaxing summer afternoon at the Steveston boardwalk.

This summer, throughout the neighbourhood that I grew up in, one could spor a small-scale construction crane looming above. Turns out while I was away, construction on a new building for my old elementary school had started. Fun fact: construction one the site was by Ellis Don. Everytime I see Ellis Don, I just associate it with Renee, who did…a billion work terms with them.

Of course, during my short mid-summer visit to Vancouver, I had to try the new Guu, Guu Garden. I went with Rose and found that the setting was quite different from the other Guu’s. It seemed more relaxed, more of an “executive lunch” setting than a loud and lively izakaya. The food did not disappoint.

Ever since my first time there with Maggie, I’ve loved A Kettle of Fish. I always try to bring people who enjoy seafood there.
