100/365 – Bayview

Friday, April 16th, 2010

I reached my 100th photo! Bayview Station…up in North York beside Bayview Village. Also the station I reach to get to the North York YMCA where I play volleyball every Tuesday night. Did you know? Bayview Station is full of trompe l’oeil art. These optical illusions look like certain objects when viewed at certain angles. It’s pretty cool.

Don Mills station, appendage to Fairview Mall parking lot and location to be picked up from when meeting most of my North York/Scarborough friends.

Bathurst Station. Direct transfer between the 511 streetcars, 7 buses and subway. Often transfer through here when going home.

077/365 – Union

Decided to start a side-project: capture the uniqueness of as the different TTC subway stops around Toronto. I don’t know how far I will take this, but I’d like to at least capture the stations I frequent. First up, Union Station. Located at the heart of the CBD in downtown Toronto, there is no doubt this is the busiest TTC station, with connections to Go trains, VIA rail and other transportation links. I often meet friends here when heading to the Distillery District or various nearby restaurants.
